If you’re bringing your own Netgear modem-router unit to use with a Pentanet Fixed Wireless service, and you’ve previously used this router with an ADSL or NBN connection, you might find that the device is configured to use its ADSL/VDSL port for the internet connection, instead of its Ethernet WAN port.
To resolve this, log in to your Netgear router, click the ‘Advanced’ tab then click on ‘WAN Setup’. Look for the wan ‘WAN Preference’ option, select ‘Must use Ethernet WAN’ and then click apply to save changes.
